Coastal Tech provides professional services from planning, to design, permitting and construction administration for beach and dune restoration.
Coastal Tech has designed and/or obtained regulatory approval for numerous beach/dune restoration projects including the City of Venice, the Town of Palm Beach, Navarre Beach, St. George Island State Park, Sebastian Inlet, and Jupiter Island. Successful engineering designs were created using a combination of understanding local coastal processes, analyzing historical data, applying numerical models, and engineering judgment. Regulatory approvals were based on careful attention to avoiding negative impacts wherever possible and the use of mitigative artificial reefs and monitoring where unavoidable.
