Coastal Tech maintains a state-of-the-art Coastal Geology & Sediments Laboratory for analysis of sediments in conjunction with identification of potential borrow area for beach and dune restoration. These analyses yield all data and formats mandated by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and|or the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Through our Lab, we offer the following services:

Featured Coastal Geology & Sediments Lab Project
Coastal Tech is working as a subconsultant to Alpine Ocean Seismic Survey, Inc. to provide sediment analysis services for samples from vibracores obtained offshore of Carteret County, NC. This work is in support of the long term sediment needs of Carteret County. The project is being directed by Moffat & Nichol out of Raleigh, NC. Coastal Tech will subsequently work with Moffat & Nichol to delineate and recommend borrow areas to the County. |
