Coastal Tech's staff includes a marine biologist and former regulatory staff that have diverse training and experience in wetland, marine, zoological, and conservation science. Biological monitoring experience includes dune communities, salt and freshwater wetlands, mangroves, and submerged aquatic vegetation, in addition to populations of invertebrates, amphibians and birds. Our staff also has experience in delineation of jurisdictional wetlands, using Federal (US Army Corps of Engineers) and State (Chapter 62-340, Florida Administrative Code) methodologies.
Featured Coastal Enhancement & Restoration Project
Coastal Tech is contracted with Sarasota County to perform professional
services to meet the needs of the Project relative to site characterization,
public coordination, engineering design, and federal-state environmental
permitting. To date, Coastal Tech has completed a site characterization,
public coordination, engineering design, and permitting with the U.S. Army
Corps of Engineers and Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
Coastal Tech is contracted with Sarasota County to perform bidding and
construction phase services. Construction is expected to be completed
during 2010.
