Coastal Tech has considerable experience in the design of marinas and shoreline stabilization structures. Internally developed numerical models, paired with industry-standard models are used to characterize wave conditions, littoral processes and flushing rates. These detailed modeling results are used by our engineers to design structures specifically suited to client's specific needs. Using environmental assessments, marinas and other coastal structures can be designed to intentionally minimize the impacts to wetlands, seagrasses and oyster beds.
Coastal Tech has also designed, permitted and provided construction phase services for a broad range of marine structure projects including jetties, breakwaters, groins, seawalls and revetments. Coastal Tech also has broad experience in assessment and rehabilitation of existing marine structures.
