As our work is focused in the sensitive coastal zone, maintaining a professional working relationship with local, regional, state and federal regulatory agencies has been integral in Coastal Tech's success. These relationships enable us to efficiently design and permit new projects as well as handle project improvements and rehabilitation.

We maintain a library of applicable codes, laws, and regulations as criteria for design and permitting of coastal projects. Coastal Tech formulates project design and plans in close collaboration with local, state, and federal regulators; this effort enables us to efficiently permit technically and environmentally viable projects.

•  Coastal Construction Control Line (CCCL) Permits
•  Joint Coastal Permits (JCP)
•  Environmental Resource Permits (ERP)
•  Erosion Control Line (ECL) Establishment
•  Environmental Monitoring
•  Seagrass Surveys and Jurisdictional Wetland Surveys
•  Sovereignty Submerged Lands Leases
•  Storm Surge and Wave Load Analysis

Coastal Tech's Permitting Team includes two marine biologists that have diverse training and experience in wetland, marine, zoological, and conservation sciences. They have monitored invertebrate, amphibian, bird, and marine mammal populations, as well as wetlands in general, including mangroves and salt and freshwater herbaceous wetlands. They also have experience in delineation of wetlands, using federal (US Army Corps of Engineers) and state (Chapter 62-340, Florida Administrative Code) methodologies.

Recently, Coastal Tech has included the capability to provide biological services to our clients, including seagrass and aquatic resource surveys. These surveys provide valuable environmental resource information for site/design planning for waterfront structures and are required by the regulatory agencies during the permitting process.
