Restoration of damaged coastal habitats such as dune areas is also a specialty of the Coastal Tech's. Coastal Tech recently completed site restoration design and permitting work for the Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge on behalf of Indian River County as well as restoration of five oceanfront parks severely damaged in 2004 by Hurricanes Frances and Jeanne – two parks for the City of Indian Harbour Beach, one park for Indian River County and two parks for the City of Vero Beach, Florida.
Coastal Tech understands the complexities of wetland restoration and management of ecologically sensitive private and public projects. Coastal Tech brings optimum science, engineering and planning-based expertise to environmental restoration projects.

Coastal Tech's staff includes two marine biologists that have diverse training and experience in wetland, marine, zoological, and conservation sciences. They have monitored invertebrate, amphibian, bird, and marine mammal populations, as well as wetlands in general, including mangroves and salt and freshwater herbaceous wetlands. They also have experience in delineation of wetlands, using federal (US Army Corps of Engineers) and state (Chapter 62-340, Florida Administrative Code) methodologies.
